Spread Awareness
Street children live in junk boxes, parks or on the street itself. A great deal has been written defining street children, but the primary difficulty is that there are no precise categories, but rather a continuum, ranging from children who spend some time in the streets and sleep in a house with ill-prepared adults, to those who live entirely in the streets and have no adult supervision or care.
A widely accepted set of definitions, commonly attributed to Amnesty International, divides street children into two main categories:
Children on the street are those engaged in some kind of economic activity ranging from begging to vending. Most go home at the end of the day and contribute their earnings to their family. They may be attending school and retain a sense of belonging to a family. Because of the economic fragility of the family, these children may eventually opt for a permanent life on the streets.
Children of the street actually live on the street (or outside of a normal family environment). Family ties may exist but are tenuous and are maintained only casually or occasionally.[1]
Street children exist in many major cities, especially in developing countries, and may be subject to abuse, neglect, exploitation, or even, in extreme cases, murder by "cleanup squads" hired by local businesses or police.[2]
In Latin America, and in parts of Asia, a common cause is abandonment by poor families unable to feed all their children. In Africa, an increasingly common cause is AIDS killing parents or rendering them unable to care for their children.
In Western societies such children tend to be termed "homeless children". According to the Sunnykids childrens charity of Australia Homelessness in Western societies tends to fall into three categories: Primary (rough sleeping, literally living on the streets); Secondary (moving from place to place, utilising support such as staying with friends, living in a homeless shelter and tertiary (Those known as "at risk" of homelessness such as children that have a home which they are under significant risk of losing or may be unsafe in).

Yuen Biao - Legends
Born 夏令震 Xià Lìng-Zhèn (Hsia Ling-Jun) in Hong Kong, he was the fifth child in a family of eight children. At the age of six he was enrolled at the Peking Opera School The China Drama Academy. He was given the stage name Yuen Biao (Little Tiger) and trained alongside schoolmates Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Corey Yuen, Yuen Wah and several others, under master Yu Jim-yuen, who would later become famous in Hong Kong cinema. He quickly showed a talent for acrobatics, and remained at the school until the age of 16.[1] When he left, Yuen followed his classmate Sammo Hung into a career in the Hong Kong film industry.In the early 1970s, Yuen began work as a stuntman and extra. After working on Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon, Yuen became a stunt double for Bruce Lee on Enter the Dragon, in 1973. He was also one of the "fake" Bruce Lees in Game of Death (1978), performing the acrobatics and stunts that the Bruce Lee "body double" (Taekwondo expert, Kim Tai Chung) was unable to perform. Yuen continued working as a stuntman, doubling for actors in Hong Kong action films and taking on supporting actor roles.
During his early acting period, he adopted the anglicised name Bill Yuen for use on the Hong Kong films that were released internationally. However, recognising the growing success of Jackie Chan, Golden Harvest were keen to give him a similar name, and on some international film prints, he was credited as Jimmy Yuen. Both anglicised names were later dropped.In 2000, Yuen went to the United States to work with Jackie Chan as the action choreographer on Shanghai Noon. In 2001, he co starred alongside Hung in The Avenging Fist. Yuen also starred in a more comedic role in the 2002 Japan HK film No Problem 2.
He is best known for his acrobatic action scenes which often overshadow the work of his more famous co-stars, especially in films such as Eastern Condors (co starring Sammo Hung) and Dragons Forever.
In 2005, Yuen starred in a TVB series called Real Kung Fu with Yuen Wah, Maggie Siu, Leung Kar Yan, Jack Wu and one of Sammo Hung's real life son, Timmy Hung.
In 2006, Yuen plays Inspector Steve Mok in Robin B Hood along with his long time friend Jackie Chan.
In 2007 he finished filming the Wing Chun TV series (a remake of the 1994 series that had preceded the film Wing Chun) alongside Nicholas Tse, Sammo Hung and another of Hung's sons, Sammy Hung. Biao plays an elder version of the character Leung Jan, the role he played 25 years earlier in The Prodigal Son, and father to Tse's character. The series has since been re-edited for release as a film, entitled Shuang Long Ji (aka Legend of Twins Dragon). However, the film's release has been delayed as it has been banned in Mainland China for containing too much violence.
Yuen appeared as a guest judge on the China Beijing TV Station reality television series The Disciple, which airied in Mainland China and was produced by, and featured Jackie Chan. The aim of the program was to find a new star, skilled in acting and martial arts, to become Chan's "successor", the champion being awarded the lead role in a film. It concluded on June 7, 2008, with the series winner being announced in Beijing.
Yuen will also be starring alongside Bryan Leung and Ji Chun Hua in Legend of Shaolin Kung-fu II: Thirteen Cudgel Monks, a new film directed by Yuen Bun.

love and friendship
There are plenty of characteristics in a good friend. Some of them should be: loyal, truthful, caring, loving, secretive,and cheesey things like that. Even though you think its very movie stylish, which it is, I know alot of people with those characteristics who have a ton of BFF’s. A good friend should also make you want to be a good person doing good deeds like them. And last but not least a good friend should be someone who you treats as part of you’re family. Those are just some of the characteristics a good friend should have so go out and find a friend with most or all of those things NOW! go why are you still reading this! GO GO GO!

Hi I'm Sohail Sheikh from New Delhi, doing Animation and also interested in making sketches.........................Uhhh
It really sounds so simple that one can say a lot about his/herself once given a chance but trust me it’s not. When the first time I tried to write down something about me , I was completely lost that from where i should start and where finish. I could manage to write just a few lines only.
I am Sohail Sheikh. I live in one of the most beautiful city of North India, New Delhi. I have been using and doing this computer stuff from around 5 years if memory serves correctly....hehehe
I shall start with revealing a little secret. Mostly people around me think that I am so much intelligent. I never could understand why because there is never anything that I did so that I can feel the same too.
Yes I do have interests beyond the bits and bytes of computer and the list not small at all. So here it goes….
1.I am a die-hard fan of Martial-Arts. I practiced it for almost 7 years.
2.Besides Martial-Arts, I love football. They say that it’s like a crime that if you don’t know and play Cricket if you are an Indian. Well, I never did play it actually. Yes I never miss watching the match whenever I am around even for few overs.
3.When I am not taking classes or studying Oracle/Solaris, you can find me sitting in front of my pc surfing the net. I love to stumble upon sites of my interest. Mostly they all are related to humor, jokes, poetry or random articles about life, love. I love to read so it’s a good way for me of spending my time.
Future is really something which can’t be defined and bounded in any boundaries. Its certainly can’t be decided too. Yes I have some plans and goals that I have decided for me but its better to keep them a secret for now. Lets see where life takes me? Yes whatever I shall be doing, I guarantee you that it will be with full passion and dedication.
By all this while, I have come to know about you too something. You have a lot of patience that you read till this line. Hope I didn’t bore you. Thanks a lot for stopping by.............hehehe
